Undivided is a cooperative two-player puzzle solving game. Each player’s character is restricted to movement on only one axis, so players must work together to push each other through the levels. Teamwork and communication is a must for players to complete this game.
With Undivided, we wanted to bring an emotional arch to the puzzle genre. While looking at the emotion create by story heavy games, we realized that a lot of emotion is created through the relationship between the player’s character and npcs. This led the creation of two player characters who rely on one another, and must overcome separation.
